Maria Hinojosa: Biden Should Apologize To Latinx Voters
Also, MSNBC should offer Maria Hinojosa a network contributorship.
ICYMI last week legendary Latina journalist Maria Hinojosa told MSNBC’s Chris Jansing that former vice president Joe Biden should apologize to Latinx voters.

From the clip:
Jansing: Biden “said undocumented immigrants need to get in line and that the country has the right to cherry-pick high skilled immigrants. Biden has been viewed sometimes with suspicion. Obviously he worked in an administration where his president was called the deporter-in-chief. What does he need to do here?
Hinojosa: So, I’ve said this before … and I want to remind people I’m not a political operative. I’m a journalist. And in this case I’m not even speaking for NPR or for any organizations … just kind of me as a person. He needs to apologize.
Jansing: He needs to say, ‘I should not have said that?’
Hinojosa: No, actually what I think … and this is where it’s about the broader Democratic Party, right? The Democratic Party cannot put its head in the sand and pretend that […] three million people or more were not deported under President Barack Obama, which means that ... yes, Joe Biden is part of that.
Whether or not Biden will apologize on the campaign trail for the sins of his vice presidency remains uncertain. It is, however, refreshing to finally see Maria Hinojosa appearing on MSNBC with a frequency becoming of her status as a journalistic icon after decades of reporting for NPR from the front lines of the rising Latinx culture in the United States.
